Vince Gorham

-Two time Juno Nominee in 1993 with the group Rock n Horse. Nominated for Country group/Duo of the Year as well as Artist/Drummer of the Year.

 

      Vince has been playing the drums since he was 6 years old and began performing on stage with his mother Vi Gorham and her band “Vi and the Sierras” alongside his friend and co-founder of Rock n Horse, Dave Milner.

 

      Vince began his professional career on the road with a band from Kentucky, USA alongside another member of Rock n Horse, Ted Mildenberger. Vince spent much of the early years of his muscial career performing with such bands as “Hot Knife Boogie Band”, "Buddy Knots” and eventually became the lead singer for a rock band hailing from England known as “Setter”.

 

      In late 1984 Vince partnered with Dave Milner, Duane Bjorklund (now known as Duane Steele) and Ted Mildenberger to form the original “Rock n Horse Band”. Eventually they added keyboard player Rob Habetler to round out the group.

 

      Rock n Horse Band had great success, having hits in Canada, the USA and even Europe. Rock n Horse toured North America, had music videos on Much Music, CMT and Nashville Net, and did some recording and showcases in Nashville, TN. Rock n Horse disbanded in 1993.

 

      Vince was a co-founder and drummer for the band Waterhole which toured Western Canada and The United States From 1994 through to 1996 . In 2000 Vince joined forces with bassist/vocalist Rick Valenzuela to form the band “KIKBAK” and have been playing together ever since.
